Agra, Uttar Pradesh: The hockey astro-turf at Eklavya Sports Stadium recently witnessed a magnificent blend of sporting excellence and historical reverence. The city hosted the 2nd Baba Zorawar Singh Ji & Baba Fateh Singh Ji ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ All India 7-Side Hockey Prize Money Gold Cup from December 21 to December 25, 2025.
This prestigious tournament was jointly organized by the Sukhjeevan Sports Academy and Agra Hockey Masters to honor the supreme sacrifice of the younger Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Vision and Tribute
The organizing secretary, Shri Rajiv Singh Ji, emphasized that this competition is more than just a sports event; it is a commemorative tribute. By organizing this tournament during the “Shaheed Diwas” period, the organizers aim to inspire the youth with the stories of bravery and martyrdom of the Sahibzadas.
